By far one of the easiest, most flavorful dairy free dishes I’ve made. Thank you for this little gem of a recipe.
Thanks Tsassey!!
You did it again !!! Made this dish for dinner. All I had was frozen chicken so I set the cooking time to 45 minutes, added some garbanzo bean GF pasta to go along with the chicken. My whole family absolutely loved it and my hubby went in for seconds ♥️
Can you make this in the crock pot?
Sure. Probably low to 4-6 hours. I would probably reduce the broth a bit too….
This chicken is wonderful! Tender, juicy and has delicious creamy sauce!
Something I will be making tonight. Chicken already out and ready
You have given me one more reason to use my Instant pot. Looks DELICIOUS!
Miss Tessa, how long and at what temperature and pressure poundage would this need to be to work in a stove top pressure cooker?
I had a stove top pressure cooker, and I would guess that I could not use as little liquid. But Cook time should be similar (8 minutes full pressure) with a natural release , may seed to simmer off more liquid. Since I haven’t tested, can;t be sure Beth Ann!
can i use chicken stock or veggie stock instead of bone broth?
Yes, always a
Good sub Kary!
Its the time to use our Instant Pot. This recipe is just the one.
My Instant Pot in on a full blast from last week. Thank you for this suggestion. Time to cook
I’m all about instant pot these days and this recipe is something I need to try soon. It’s also perfect with a low-carb diet, too!

I love my Instant Pot. Making this for sure.
Looks so good & I can’t wait to try this in the IP tonight! It is way too hot today to be using the oven!
This creamy italian chicken recipe looks delicious! We are going to try it out this weekend with the cashew cream… I always need quick and easy weeknight dinners.
Oh YUMMY!!! this is perfect, as it won’t take a lot of hands on time! I am excited to try this tonight
This is the second dish I’ve made that’s supposed to have a sauce….I open up the instant pot and it’s all dried up…nothing. even starting to burn. what am I doing wrong??
I can’t hazard a guess as to why it’s not working for you Lori….BUT if it’s a pattern in your unit, definitely add an extra 1/2 cup liquid. The only reason recipes like this get away with the less that 1 cup standard liquid minimum in Instant Pots is because the chicken releases quite a bit of water on it’s own. So if a recipe is going for a sauce and uses a small amount of liquid like this recipe, I would plan on increasing your liquid minimum to the 1 cup. I wish I had a better answer for you, i’ve Made this loads of times, and had multiple people recipe test it too. Sorry for the frustration!
Three loves – instant pot, Italian recipes, chicken. This looks like a delicious dish for a busy weekenight!
Absolutely spectacular! The tender chicken and the creamy sauce are so delicious! Also great as leftovers!
Yum! So easy in the Instant Pot! I how creamy it is.
This looks so good! I’m always on the lookout for yummy IP recipes to try!
